Glee Synopsis
Glee is a new musical comedy series about a high school glee club. It will preview its pilot on FOX on May 19 after American Idol, then begin airing its 13 episode order in the fall of 2009. It was created by Ryan Murphy, who also created Popular and Nip/Tuck.
The series stars and features many Broadway actors, including Matthew Morrison, Victor Garber, Debra Monk, Josh Groban, and Kristin Chenoweth. Also starring are Jane Lynch, Jessalyn Gilsig, Kevin McHale, and Jayma Mays.
The music of the show will include the characters singing Broadway and pop songs. Each song will be available on iTunes the day after an episode airs. Fox ordered full season of 22 episodes and it was announced in January of 2010 second season has been commissioned.
