Max Headroom Synopsis

Max Headroom is a cult cyberpunk series produced by ABC that premiered in 1987.

Max Headroom was inspired by the British TV movie Twenty Minutes in the Future that was in turn based upon a short-lived Channel 4’s Max Headroom Show. Matt Frewer – who played titular character – and Amanda Pays (”The Flash”) reprise their roles from the movie and were joined in the TV series by Jeffrey Tambor (”Arrested Development”, “Hellboy”).

Max Headroom aired two seasons.
