Wind at My Back Synopsis

Wind at My Back was a drama television series produced by CBC Television that premiered in December of 1996.

Created by Kevin Sullivan Wind at My Back followed the story of Honey Bailey (played by Cynthia Belliveau and later on by Laura Bruneau), a widow who has fallen on the hard times during the Great Depression. After Jack, Honey’s husband, loses his hardware store, he is forced to move his family to New Bedford, a small mining town in Northern Ontario. After Jack dies, Honey is forced to leave her sons in the care of her domineering mother in law May (played by Shirley Douglas) so she can look for work in order to provide for her family.

Wind at My Back aired five seasons and one special.

Young Dracula was a horror drama series for teenagers loosely based upon a children’s book Young Dracula and Young Monsters by Michael Lawrence. The premise found Dracula family hiding in a small village in present-day Wales from vampires and vampire hunters alike.

The Pinkertons Synopsis

The Pinkertons is a western crime drama television series airing in syndication that premiered in October of 2014.

The Pinkertons follows the story of Allan Pinkerton (played by Angus Macfadyen) and his son William (played by Jacob Blair), the founders of the Pinkerton Agency. The two use traditional crime solving techniques and the forensic methods available at the time to solve crimes in the Wild West. They also team up with first Kate Warne (played by Martha MacIsaac), America’s first female detective who specializes in undercover and forensic work. The series is based on the real cases that the Pinkerton Agency investigated.

The Pinkertons is currently in its first season.

Created by Ben Epstein Happyland follows the story of Lucy (played by Bianca A. Santos), a young girl who works in one of the most popular theme parks in the country. Lucy was raised by her single mum who has never told her the identity of her dad. But when the owner of the park James Chandler returns to the park with his family and Lucy gets a crush on his son Ian (played by Shane Harper), her mum is forced to tell her that James Chandler is her father and Ian is her half brother.
