Southland Synopsis
Just one week after ER’s series finale comes Southland, a new drama from ER creator John Wells. It follows the uniformed officers of the Los Angeles Police Department, focusing on the relationship between veteran John Cooper (Michael Cudlitz) and his rookie partner, Ben Sherman (Benjamin McKenzie).
The series also stars Tom Everett Scott, Regina King, Michael McGrady, Kevin Alejandro, Shawn Hatosy, and Arija Bareikis.
Southland premieres on Thursday, April 9, at 10:00 pm Eastern/9:00 Central. Its first season has seven episodes. The pilot is now available for preview on Hulu and other broadband streaming video sites.
