Law and Order UK Synopsis

Law and Order UK is a police and legal procedure drama series based on it’s American counterpart that started showing on ITV in February of 2009.

Law and Order UK is based in London and follows the same format as the original American series. The show is written by Chris Chiball who had to adapt the scripts of the original series to be consistent with British legal system. Unlike with it’s American counterpart, Law and Order UK currently has only 13 episodes.

Law and Order UK is the first British adaptation of an American series.
