Gun Frontier Synopsis
Based on the manga by space opera master Leiji Matsumoto (Galaxy Express 999), Gun Frontier recasts his classic space pirate Captain Harlock as a buddy adventure-comedy set in Old West.
Instead of a space pirate, Captain Harlock is now a sea pirate, and his sidekick Tochiro is a samurai. Together, they meet a beautiful mysterious woman named Shinunora and set out for danger.
Over the course of the series they battle with crime and corruption, all the while searching for a lost clan of Japanese immigrants.
