Ergo Proxy Synopsis

The anime Ergo Proxy takes place in the domed city of Romdo, where humans and androids coexist peacefully.

However, a virus called Cogito begins spreading, which makes robots become self aware and begin to murder.

That is when Inspector Re-l Mayer of the Citizen Intelligence Bureau begins to investigate.
