Kings Synopsis
Kings, a new drama on NBC, is a modern re-telling of the Biblical David and Goliath story. David Shepherd (Chris Egan), a soldier, saves the life of Jack Benjamin (Sebastian Stan), the son of King Silas (Ian McShane), ruler of the fictional kingdom of Gilboa.
David is feted as a hero in the capital city of Shiloh. However, he soon finds that navigating the treacherous and manipulative waters of power and privilege could be his undoing, especially after her falls for Michelle (Allison Miller), the king’s daughter.
Kings premieres with a special two hour episode on Sunday, March 15. It will be airing on Sunday nights at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 Central. Its first season has thirteen episodes.
