Desperate Romantics Synopsis

Desperate Romantics is a costume period drama produced by BBC that debuted in July of 2009.

Desperate Romantics follows the story of three young men also known as the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood who are trying to change the nature of the art in the Victorian world. The series is loosely based and inspired by book written by Franny Moyle called Desperate Romantics: The Private Lives Of The Pre-Raphaelites.

Desperate Romantics was commissioned for six episodes.
