Raymond Blanc’s Kitchen Secrets Synopsis

Raymond Blanc’s Kitchen Secrets is a cooking television show produced by BBC Two that premiered in February of 2010.

Raymond Blanc’s Kitchen Secrets is hosted by Raymond Blanc, a Michelin star chef, and shot in the kitchen of his Oxford restaurant. In each episode Blanc uses different (usually some of the most common) ingredients and shows different ways of preparing the same. The recipes vary in difficulty – from very basic to advanced – so cooks of all degrees of expertise can prepare them.

Raymond Blanc’s Kitchen Secrets is currently in its first season.

Miami Medical Synopsis

Miami Medical is medical drama television series produced by CBS that premiered in April of 2010.

Miami Medical is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Jeffrey Lieber. It follows the personal and professional lives of a team of trauma surgeons in Miami who try to save their critically injured patients in a race against the clock.

Miami Medical is currently in its first season.

Google has acquired Episodic, a smaller, lesser-known rival to Brightcove and Ooyala. Details of the deal have not been revealed, and it’s unclear what, apart from Episodic’s technology and staff being woven into YouTube, this means.

Google seems to be on a bit of a buying spree at the moment, with multiple companies being brought into the fold during the first few weeks of 2010. February saw Google finalize a deal to acquire video compression specialists On2, and now Episodic has been added to the shopping list.

Episodic is an online video hosting platform which helps publishers and marketers “stream, measure and monetize” video content to the Web or mobile devices such as the iPhone.

Moeyo Ken Synopsis

The anime Moeyo Ken is based on the PC game of the same name and takes place in an alternate universe version of the Meiji period.

The series follows Ryunoske Sakamoto, who travels with his unlicensed creature Nekomaru.

Moeyo Ken was created Hiroi Oji (creator of Sakura Wars) with character designs by Rumiko Takahashi (creator of Ranma 1/2).

The world is gearing up for the release of the Apple iPad tomorrow (April 3) and video is going to play a big part of the device, despite the lack of support for Adobe Flash.

Netflix has already announced its iPad app, with Hulu expected to do the same soon. And the networks are also getting in on the act, with ABC, NBC, and CBS offering shows up for streaming.

Apple is confident that video will form a large part of what iPad users will gain from owning the device. Its decision not to support Flash was a controversial one, although hardly unexpected. But that doesn’t seem to be harming the iPad much, if at all.

In the ‘Videos‘ section of the guided tour of the iPad, Apple states:

“There’s nothing like watching video on iPad. The high-resolution display brings your favorite HD movies and TV shows to live like no device has before. When you hold it in your hands, it feels like your own personal big screen.”

Which is an unequivocal boast. But as well as iTunes and YouTube, other video sites and services are now coming on board the iPad Express.

The anime Jing King of Bandits: Seventh Heaven is based on the manga Jing King of Bandits by Yuichi Kumakura.

The series follows Jing and his sidekick Kir as they venture into a prison called Seventh Heaven.

The pair are in search of an orb that crystalizes dreams.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (UK) Synopsis

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (UK) is a improvisational comedy television program that premiered on Channel 4 in September of 1988.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (UK) was presented by Clive Anderson and it featured four comedians in each episode. Comedians were forced to improvise songs, sketches and scenes on the spot and they were awarded points for their efforts (although the point system did not serve any purpose in the British version of the program). In the United States ABC remade the program for American audience in 1998 and it was hosted by Drew Carrey.

Whose Line Is It Anyway? (UK) aired 10 seasons.
