Queer As Folk (US) Synopsis
Queer As Folk (US) is a drama television series jointly produced by Showtime and Showcase that premiered in December of 2000.
Queer As Folk (US) is based on the British series of the same name created by Russell T Davies. It follows the lives of five homosexual friends – Emmett, Ted, Justin, Brian, Michael – who live in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Other main characters in the story include Michael’s mother Debbie and a lesbian couple Lyndsay and Melanie. The series was known for its vivid sex scenes. Queer AS Folk (US) won a number of awards.
Queer As Folk (US) aired five seasons.

Hulu’s plans to break out of its self-imposed borders and launch internationally have been dealt a severe, and possibly fatal blow. It seems British broadcasters just aren’t interested in being part of Hulu’s quest for world domination
