The Darling Buds of May is a family comedy series produced by ITV that debuted in 1991.
The Darling Buds of May stars David Jason (Only Fools and Horses) and follows the story of boisterous Larkin family. The setting of the television series is 1950s Kent’s countryside. The series also launched Catherine Zeta Jones’ acting career. The Darling Buds of May was based on books written by H. E. Bates.
