Fruits Basket Synopsis

Based on the manga by Natsuki Takaya, Fruits Basket follows the Sohmas, a family possessed by the animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

The Sohmas, composed mostly of young people, invites a classmate, the orphaned girl Tohru Honda, to stay with them.

This causes problems because the possessed turn into animals when hugged by a member of the opposite sex or while when experiencing powerful emotions.
