
Rome Synopsis
HBO’s history drama Rome debuted in August of 2005.
Set in the dying days of Roman Republic and filmed in Italy Rome told a story about the fall of the Roman Republic as seen through the eyes of famous people (like Caesar or Mark Anthony) and common people alike. Rome featured a strong cast of mostly British TV and theater actors.
Rome aired two seasons.
