Juliet Bravo Synopsis

Juliet Bravo is a police procedural television series produced by BBC that premiered in August of 1980.

Created by Ian Kennedy Martin Juliet Bravo followed the story of Inspector Jean Darblay (played by Stephanie Turner) and in later seasons her replacement Inspector Kate Longton (played by Anna Carteret) who were both female inspectors who ran the police station in the fictional town of Hartley, Lancashire, United Kingdom. The series dealt with daily challenges in their professional lives. There was no character with the name of Juliet Bravo – it referred to inspector’s radio call signal J B which was pronounced Juliet Bravo in phonetic alphabet.

Juliet Bravo aired six seasons.
