Hawthorne Synopsis

Hawthorne is a medical drama series produced by TNT that debuted in June of 2009.

Hawthorne follows the story of Christina Hawthorne (played by Jada Pinkett Smith) who is a Chief nursing officer at the Richmond Trinity Hospital. She will do anything in her power to help her patients and sometimes bends the rules. But her personal life is taking it’s toll too after she lost her husband to cancer and tries to raise her teenage daughter on her own.

Hawthorne marks Jada Pinkett Smith’s first return to television in 18 years. So far the series has been commissioned for one season.
