Five Days Synopsis

Five Days is a crime drama television series jointly produced by BBC and HBO that premiered in January of 2007.

Five Days was written by Gwyneth Hughes and it follows five 24-hour days during the course of a police investigations into a disappearance of a young mother and her two children. The series takes a look into not only the police investigation but also into the consequence that the event has on the family and friends of the people involved. BBC also commissioned a spin-off series called Hunter that premiered in January of 2009.

Five Days is currently in its second season.
