Extras Synopsis

Extras is a BBC and HBO produced comedy series that debuted in July of 2005.

Extras tells the story of Andy Millman (played by Ricky Gervais) who is a movie extra trying to make it big. He is accompanied by his friend Maggie (played by Ashley Jensen) and his substandard agent Darren Lamb (played by Stephen Merchant). Each episode of Extras had one special celebrity guest making a cameo appearance.

Extras won a number of awards including a BAFTA, an Emmy and a Golden Globe. Extras had only two seasons and one-off Christmas special.
