Eastbound and Down Synopsis

Eastbound and Down is a comedy television series produced by HBO that debuted in February of 2009.

Produced by Will Ferrell Eastbound and Down follows the story of Kenny Powers (played by Danny McBride) who is a former professional baseball pitcher but when his baseball career turns sour he is forced to return to his home town in North Carolina and take on a job of a substitute physical education teacher.

Eastbound and Down aired one season and second series has been commissioned by HBO.
