Dark Skies was a conspiracy theory Science Fiction drama produced by NBC that debuted in September of 1996.

Dark Skies followed adventures of government investigators battling alien shape shifters infiltrating America in the 1960s, while stumbling upon truths about important events of the era from the Moon landing to the Kennedy assassination.

Dark Skies aired 20 episodes and lasted for one season.
