Bunheads Synopsis

Bunheads is a comedy drama television series produced by ABC Family that premiered in June of 2012.

Created by Amy Sherman-Palladino (Gilmore Girls) and Lamar Damon Bunheads follows the story of Michelle (played by Sutton Foster), a former ballerina and now Las Vegas showgirl whose career hits a dead end. On an impulse she marries her longtime admirer and moves with him to a small coastal town in California. Once there she learns her husband still lives with his mother Fanny (played by Kelly Bishop), a dance teacher who runs Paradise Dance Academy.

Bunheads is currently in its first season.
