A Bit of a Do Synopsis

A Bit of a Do is a comedy drama television series produced by ITV that premiered in January of 1989.

Based on the books written by David Nobbs A Bit of a Do follows the story of two families who are forced to socialize together due to the shotgun wedding of their children. The working class Simcocks and middle-class Rodenhursts have little in common apart from their snobbery but things turn even more awkward once Simcocks pater familias Ted (played by David Jason – Only Fools and Horses) starts an affair with Liz Rodenhurst (played by Nicola Pagett).
