Driving Force Synopsis

The reality television series Driving Force follows an entire family of drag racers.

The father, John Force, is a talented drag racer with three daughters who have followed in his footsteps.

The daughters are Ashley, Brittany, and Courtney Force, and Driving Force follows their day-to-day lives.

Ashley Highfield claims the television industry has three years to act before it faces an “iTunes moment” with Apple running the online video show.

Is this correct or is the Microsoft executive who also launched the BBC iPlayer merely showing his anti-Apple bias?

Ashley Highfield is a man who knows what he’s talking about when it comes to consumer technology and online video. He formerly oversaw the launch of the BBC iPlayer service, initially only on Windows, and was the CEO of Project Kangaroo, the joint venture between the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.

He is now the UK Managing Director of Microsoft (Consumer & Online) and looks after Windows, Bing, Messenger, Hotmail, and more besides. He also oversaw the launch of the MSN Video Player recently, which brings archive television shows to the Web.

The Storyteller Synopsis

The Storyteller is a live puppet television series that debuted in 1988.

Emmy-Awarded series by Muppet Show creator Jim Hanson The Storyteller featured less-known European fairy tales retold with the help of both Hanson’s ingenious puppets and by a number of well-known character actors including John Hurt, Joely Richardson, Michael Gambon and Miranda Richardson.

The Storyteller aired two seasons.

Moonlighting Synopsis

Moonlighting is a comedy detective series that premiered on ABC in 1985.

Moonlighting won over audience with its mixture of comedy,drama and crime series rising to stars its main actors Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepard. Appeal of the show was further increased by guest star roles of such actors as Whoopi Goldberg, Judd Nelson, Tim Robbins, Dana Delaney, Virginia Madsen, Demi Moore, etc.

Dragnet (1967) Synopsis

A remake of the classic 1950s TV series, Dragnet follows the investigations of Los Angeles police detectives.

Series creator and writer Jack Webb plays Sergeant Joe Friday, while his partner in this iteration, Bill Gannon, is played by Harry Morgan.

The popular series spawned two more remakes over the decades and a feature film with Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks.

Visible Measure Viral Video Chart

While Magma tracks the most popular videos of the day, Visible Measures is constantly tracking the biggest and most popular viral videos around. And there are 35 which, according to the company, have exceeded 100 million views.

We first covered the list in May but things have changed somewhat since then. The newly updated list has seen some new entries which have quickly raced up the charts due to either current events or the zeitgeist of the day.
