Voltron: Defender of the Universe Synopsis

The classic ’80s cartoon Voltron: Defender of the Universe followed the epic struggle between good and evil on the planet Arus.

Five young pilots (Keith, Lance, Pidge, Princess Allura, and Hunk) pilot lion robots that all combine to form the giant robot known as Voltron and battle the evil King Zarkon of the planet Doom.

Later episodes featured a fleet of 15 pilots whose vehicles (which travel by land, air, or sea) combine to form a different Voltron robot to protect space colonists from the threat of the evil Drule Empire.
