Victoria Wood: As Seen on TV is a comedy sketch program produced by BBC Two that premiered in January of 1985.
Victoria Wood: As Seen on TV was created by Victoria Wood, a comedienne, writer and a performer. Each episode consisted out of number of sketches and while some were one off (like Two Soups sketch) a number of sketches and characters made a repeat performance (most notably Acorn Antiques). The cast included Celia Imrie, Susie Blake, Patricia Routledge, Julie Walters and Wood herself. Most recently Acorn Antiques was made into a West End musical.
