The Voice Synopsis

The Voice is a reality competition television show produced by NBC that premiered in April of 2011.

Created by John de Mol The Voice is a part of the franchise and based on the similar program that airs in the Netherlands. The contestants go through three stages of the competition – blind auditions, battle phase and live performances. The shows judges are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton but there are other guest judges that will appear on the show. The winner will receive a record deal with Universal Republic and a monetary prize of $100.000.

The Voice is currently in its first season.
