The Event Synopsis

The Event is a thriller mystery television series produced by NBC that premiered on September 20th 2010.

Created by Nick Wauters The Event follows the story of Sean Walker (played by Jason Ritter) who becomes involved in a global conspiracy after his girlfriend gets abducted while they were on vacation in St. Lucia. Meanwhile the president of United States Elias Martinez (played by Blair Underwood) becomes a potential target after he learns about the existence of mysterious Mount Inostranka in Alaska and decides to reveal who is being held there and why. The series also uses flashbacks to reveal the storyline.

The Event is currently in its first season.
