Fresh Fields Synopsis
Fresh Fields is a situation comedy television series produced by ITV that premiered in March of 1984.
Fresh Fields followed the story of Hester and William Fields (played by Julia McKenzie and Anton Rodgers respectively), who are a middle class suburban couple. Hester’s mother lived with the couple and while William went to work, Hester kept the house. The title of the show came from Hester’s preoccupation with finding new hobbies or improving their life much to the chagrin of her husband.
