Burn Notice Synopsis
Burn Notice
stars Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen, a spy who one day found himself dismissed from service via “burn notice.” He’s got no job, no assets, and no identity. He hires himself out as a private investigator and works to uncover who wanted him out of the spy business and why.
The comedy-drama series on USA also features Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona, Westen’s ex-girlfriend and sometime assistant in his investigations, Sharon Gless as Madeline, Westen’s manipulative yet loving mother, and Bruce Campbell as Sam, Westen’s friend and last contact with his spying life.
Burn Notice has been a successful series for USA. It has spawned tie-in novels and it was renewed for a third season, which will begin airing later in 2009.
