Suburgatory Synopsis

Suburgatory is a situation comedy television series produced by ABC that premiered in September of 2011.

Created by Emily Kapnek Suburgatory follows the story Tessa Altman (played by Jane Levy), who is a teen living in New York City with her dad George (played by Jeremy Sisto). After her dad finds condoms in Tessa’s room he decides to move to suburbs in a bid to give Tessa a better life. But Tessa hates the suburbs and their new and seemingly perfect neighbors.

The Jury Synopsis

The Jury is a legal drama television series produced by Fox Network that premiered in June of 2004.

The Jury was American legal drama focusing on various cases discussed by jury members. Each episode presented a different jury discussing a new case. Due to the low ratings, the series was quickly canceled.

Created by Jack Thorne The Fades follows the story of Paul (played by Iain de Caestecker), who is a teenage boy who also happens to have nightmares that make him see dead people. A spirit or so-called Fade has broken into Paul’s world and both him and his family find themselves in danger.

You can now stream Transformers: Dark Of The Moon directly from Paramount Pictures, in what the company is calling “an experiment.” Can this attempt to cut out the middle-men and sell to consumers directly possibly work?

Hollywood and the Internet

Hollywood hasn’t taken particularly well to the Internet, blaming its (supposed) woes on piracy beyond all reason. But the MPAA aside, the studios are slowly realizing that the Internet and the range of options it gives to consumers aren’t going to just disappear. In other words, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

Movies are now available to watch via a whole host of services and websites. Amazon and Apple offer the chance to buy or rent digital copies, while Netflix and Hulu offer always-available streams of older titles. Even the likes of Facebook and YouTube are now offering movies.

The problem for the major Hollywood studios is there is always a middle-man. If they can be taken out of the equation then this Internet malarkey may not be so bad after all.

Hart of Dixie Synopsis

Created by Leila Gerstein Hart of Dixie follows the story of Dr. Zoe Hart (played by Rachel Bilson), a New Yorker who has graduated top of her class at medical school. But when she loses out on a fellowship she takes up an offer from a stranger to share his general practice in a small town of Bluebell in Alabama. As she tries to settle in and adjust to the small town life, Zoe discovers she might be more suited for it than she thought possible.
