Buried Treasure is a reality television series produced by Fox Network that premiered in August of 2011.
Buried Treasure follows brothers and professional appraisers Leslie and Leigh Keno (who also appeared on Antiques Roadshow), who travel all over the United States in search of valuable and collectible items to appraise and ultimately sell for the item’s owners.

Google TV isn’t going to be one of those many products or services Google kills off quietly after a failed trial. Instead, it’s going to nurture Google TV and even expand its reach outside of the States.
Google TV may not have been a success in the U.S., with Apple TV outperforming it every step of the way, but that isn’t stopping Google from planning its next move. And it’s one that will see them hop across the Atlantic to arrive on the doorsteps of the British public.
According to Eric Schmidt, speaking in his keynote at the Edinburgh Television Festival, Google TV will launch in Europe in the next six months, and the search and advertising giant is already in talks with British broadcasters.
This is a necessary step if Google is going to avoid experiencing the same problems in the U.K. and Europe as it has in the United States. The major U.S. networks have all blocked their content from streaming through Google TV, proving their desire to remain in control but also their unwillingness to stare the future in the face.
Mount Pleasant is a comedy drama television series produced by Sky1 that premiered in August of 2011.
Created by Sarah Cooper Mount Pleasant follows the story of Lisa Johnson (played by Sally Lindsay), a 30-something woman from Manchester who has been married to her husband Dan (played by Daniel Ryan) for the past 10 years. They live in a smart neighborhood called Mount Pleasant on the outskirts of Manchester. Lisa and Dan love each other but that does not mean they do not argue or are that they are not tempted by other people.

The Lying Game is a teen thriller drama television series produced by ABC Family that premiered in August of 2011.
Based on the novels of the same name written by Sara Shepard The Lying Game follows the story of identical twins Emma and Sutton (both played by Alexandra Chando), who were separated at birth. While Emma got stuck in the foster care system, Sutton was adopted by a wealthy family and leads a charmed life. Sutton seeks Emma out and asks her to replace her while she goes to look for their birth mother. But Sutton gets in trouble and goes missing leaving Emma to not only look for her but having to decide whether or not she should come clean with Sutton’s family.

It seems even 99-cents wasn’t a low-enough price to tempt consumers into renting individual episodes of TV shows from iTunes. Apple has now ended the experiment and it’s a Buy-Only world once more.
Last year saw Apple aggressively pushing for television studios to offer the latest episodes of their biggest shows for rental through iTunes for the low price of just 99-cents. Steve Jobs, who has now resigned as CEO of the company, thought price would be the key in persuading people to rent rather than buy.
Unfortunately there were few takers. Of the big four networks only Fox and ABC were on board, with CBS and NBC opting out. Time Warner was vehemently against the idea of offering content so cheaply.
It seems consumers didn’t really take to the idea either. Then again, if the content had been there in the first place then perhaps things would have turned out differently.

It Ain’t Half Hot Mum is a situation comedy television series produced by BBC that premiered in January of 1974.
Created by Jimmy Perry and David Croft (Dad’s Army, You Rang M’Lord?) It Ain’t Half Hot Mum follows the story of Royal Artillery Concert Party and it is set towards the end of World War II. The troop is placed at Deolali in India and it is their job to entertain the soldiers before they are sent off to jungle.
