V (1984) Synopsis

V (1984) is a Science Fiction television series produced by NBC that debuted in october of 1984.

Created by Kenneth Johnson V (1984) was a a continutation of two mini-series V and V: The Final Battle. The summary of the plot is that a group of reptilian aliens (also known as The Visitors) come to Earth and try to force humans into subsmission however they are stopped in their attempts by a human resistance group.

V (1984) aired one season and a remake of the series should debute on ABC Network in November of 2009.

The Thick of It Synopsis

The Thick of It is a comedy television series produced by BBC Four that premiered in May of 2005.

The Thick of It follows the story of the British Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship and it’s employees. The Department is headed by a blundering minister Hugh Abbot who is unsuccesfully trying to make his mark and install new policies however it is proving difficult under the watchful eye of Prime Minister’s enforcer Malcolm Tucker and disrupting members of Civil Service.

White Collar Synopsis

White Collar is a drama crime television series produced by USA Network that premiered on October 23rd 2009.

White Collar follows the story of Neal Caffrey (played by Matt Bomer) who is a con-man who got caught and ended up in prison. He makes a deal with an FBI agent Peter Burke (played by Tim DeKay) to help him catch criminals as a part of work – release program.

Netflix is finally looking towards a streaming future, with the death of DVD predicted, plans for services on other devices – notably the PS3 and Wii (probably) – and a move outside the United States and into unspecified international territories.

Netflix Of The Past

When Netflix formed in 1997 as a DVD by mail company in the United States, the Internet wasn’t the behemoth it is now, and online video was a concept rather than an actual living, breathing part of the Web.

Streaming video therefore wasn’t part of the plan for the company at that point. However, it introduced ‘Watch Instantly’ as part of its subscription service a few years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
