I’m waiting on approval for the beta. I applied as soon as I found out about it, but still on the waiting list.
I’ve been enjoying the TVUplayer but it could be improved with more European and US content. Seems to be based in Taiwain or Hong Kong… http://www.tvunetworks.com/downloads/index.htm
I also like onlinetv2 and onlinetv3. It has some promising real-time recording options in the upcoming software releases, but looks like that will come as a premium add-on. This one’s based in Germany, and all the German links seem to work ok. The only UK one I could get going was Cartoon Network. http://www.onlinetv2.de/
If one of these had a great interface, allowed the content to be recorded to avi files, and had a way to add your favorite links, that would be the way to go.

So, please send an invitation to the center of Europe, so I can test Joost and invite other people around me…
I recently got an apple tv and have been running quite a few of the hacks on the system and am getting closer and closer to making it viable media hub in my home theatre, but am just lacking the ability to view “live television” so to speak on it. I would love to get access to Joost so that I can display Joost on my apple tv and be able to view television through the box…I think it would lead to more and more innovation along with the possibilities for an enhanced apple tv IPTV solution.
Joost is the missing piece in my puzzle, and I would love the oppurtunity to test it!!
