The Smoke Synopsis

The Smoke is a drama television series produced by Sky1 that premiered in February of 2014.

Created by Lucy Kirkwood The Smoke follows the story of the White Watch, a group of London firefighters and the dangers they face on daily basis. The team is led by Kev (played by Jamie Bamber – Battlestar Galatica), a firefighter who was injured during the line of duty and who has troubles adjusting upon his return to work.

The Smoke is currently in its first season.

LoveFilm is no more, being rebranded as Amazon Prime Instant Video and being folded into the existing Amazon Prime service. Most people will have to pay more money for the service, but the £79-per-year asking price buys you more than just streaming video.

Amazon Prime Primer

Amazon Prime is primarily a premium version of Amazon, with those willing to pay the asking price gaining next-day delivery (two days in the much larger U.S.) on most items sold through the online retailer.

If this was the only advantage Prime offered, you would have to order a lot of items to justify the expense. However, Prime customers in the U.S. have had extras included for several years, including Amazon Instant Video (formerly Amazon Unbox and Amazon Video on Demand) and the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library.

This has sweetened the pot and upped the number of Amazon customers opting to subscribe.

Roy Synopsis

Roy is an animated live action comedy drama television series produced by TRTÉ that premiered in July of 2009.

Roy follows the story of the titular character who is a 11-year old boy living in a suburb in Dublin. He faces the same challenges his peers face, however he does have an additional problem that makes it hard for him to fit in – unlike his family who is normal, he is animated.

Roy is currently in its third season.
