Hancock’s Half Hour Synopsis
Hancock’s Half Hour was a comedy television series produced by BBC that premiered in November of 1954.
Created by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson Hancock’s Half Hour was based on the radio comedy series of the same name. It followed the story of Anthony Aloysius St John Hancock (played by Tony Hancock), down on his luck comedian struggling to make the ends meet and hoping to hit the big time.
Hancock’s Half Hour aired six seasons and one special.
