A Mind to Kill Synopsis

A Mind to Kill is a crime drama television series produced by Channel 5 that premiered in November of 1994.

Created by Sion Eirian and Lyn Ebenezer A Mind to Kill follows the story of Detective Chief Inspector Noel Bain (played by Philip Madoc), who does not rely on science to solve crimes but on his intelligence, experience and gut. Bain is nostalgic for the days gone by but is smart enough to realize modern crime is so complicated no training can prepare you for it. Bain has a complicated relationship with his teenage daughter Hannah as he tries to protect her from the evils of the world.

A Mind to Kill aired five seasons.

The Chronicle Synopsis

The Chronicle is a horror television series produced by SciFi Channel that premiered in July of 2001.

The Chronicle was short-lived American horror series based upon a series of books by Mark Sumner. The story followed journalist Tucker Burns (played by Chad Willett) who starts working for a tabloid called The Chronicle. Led by mysterious boss Donald Stern (played by Jon Polito), Tucker begins investigating various supernatural encounters only to learn that all of them are true.

Goosebumps Synopsis

Goosebumps is a horror television series produced by FOX Kids that premiered in October of 1995.

Goosebumps was Canadian horror anthology TV series aimed primarily at children. Series was based upon highly popular series of books written by R. L. Stine.

Another day, another innovative use of the Internet to deliver content to paying customers is killed by Hollywood. Because piracy is a much better option, obviously.

Zediva Lives, Then Withers

Zediva launched in January promising a new way of renting DVDs. Rather than sending them out by mail or selling them in kiosks, Zediva would stream a physical copy of a film from its headquarters. Customers would tap into the stream. And with 10 streams costing just $10 Zediva became popular very quickly. Unfortunately it was a short-lived success.

The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) sued Zediva, claiming copyright and licensing violations. In August a federal judge ordered Zediva offline, granting a preliminary injunction against the company. An appeal seemed on the cards, but it wasn’t to be.
