The TiVo Premiere is being released this weekend, promising to bring TiVo bang up-to-date and integrate Internet TV programming to a greater degree than ever.

TiVo has revolutionized the way many people in the United States watch conventional TV, enabling the recording, storing, pausing, and playback of live television.

However, there now a multitude of competitors, with each cable company offering their own DVR. And the emergence of online video which, by its very nature, offers viewing options galore, has meant TiVo has struggled to keep up.

But the new TiVo Premiere is the company’s big hope, boasting a new, redesigned user interface and the full integration of selected online video sources.

Drop The Dead Donkey Synopsis

Drop The Dead Donkey is a situation comedy television series produced by Channel 4 that premiered in August of 1990.

Created by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin Drop The Dead Donkey followed the daily going-ons in the Globelink, TV news network after it was bought by Sir Roysten Merchant. The editor George Dent and his staff try to keep their news show serious while their new boss (and Sir Merchant’s right hand man) Gus Hedges wants them to air more sensationalist stories and not report on any stories that might be harmful for Sir Merchant’s image.

Lexx Synopsis

Made mostly as joined Canadian and German production, Lexx followed bizarre adventures of a mismatched crew of aliens, robots and ghosts who, after they accidentally steal ultimate planet-destroying weapon, find themselves on the run from various parties interested into taking the weapon.
