Reaper Synopsis

Sam Oliver (Bret Harrison) has an easy life. He’s a college dropout who lives with his parents, hangs out with his fellow slackers and best friends Sock and Ben, has a no-brains job at a home repair store, and pines after his co-worker Andi.

On Sam’s 21st birthday, he discovers that his parents sold their first child’s soul to the Devil when Sam’s father was sick. Now the Devil (Ray Wise) wants to collect. He orders Sam to work for him collecting evil souls that have escaped from Hell. Sam reluctantly takes up his new task, with help from his friends, while seeking a way out of his contract.

Reaper debuted on the CW in 2007. Despite low ratings and a shortened first season due to the writers’ strike, it received critical acclaim and was renewed for a 13 episode second season. Season two debuts on Tuesday, March 3 at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 Central.
