September 28th, 2008 at 6:10 pmIt’s unethical, not to mention mean, to expose the weaknesses of a company with the intent to defraud, and in essence, steal. I’m disappointed that you should be so small as to publicize and promote such disreputable action. Though the ‘letter of the law’ would seem to be remiss in punishment for such action, it’s this type of opportunistic attitude that creates the international security blocks that you were complaining about only a few posts ago.
I have no loyalty to Amazon, or any other large corporation, but if we as net citizens want to keep the web free from government regulation for as long as possible, we have to conduct ourselves with the higher level of character than this. If we don’t, the large corporations will move more greedily and more quickly to construct even greater limitations on our freedoms.
