uLinkxuLinkx, currently my favorite video search engine, has told me it surpassed 2.5 million page views this month.

From the Alexa graph below you can see that it has now beginning to make ground on the other major video search engines including Blinkx, SearchForVideo, SearchVideo and PureVideo.

uLinkx is set to become a major contender in the video search space, but so far it looks like non of the video search engines can get to the traffic levels of the video sharing sites themselves.

New uLinkx Features

  • Customizable All In One Video page - Provides access to popular videos from many video sharing web sites, like Youtube, Google videos, MySpace, Metacafe, Reuters, Yahoo, Revver, Grouper, iFilm, Dailymotion and many more sites on a single page. It provides videos under different categories like News, Sports, Entertainment, Music and Movies
  • Users can select uLinkx popular videos based on timeline (day, week, month and all time)
  • uLinkx video search results have been enhanced to allow user to sort search results based on date besides relevance
  • Family Filter -  allows users to screen out inappropriate videos based on preference.
  • User can import their YouTube videos. On a YouTube video page, clicking on the user’s link will take you to the import video page

- Video search engine - Find desirable video clips effortlessly.
- Audio search engine - helpful tools to bring you audio clips.
- Picture search engine - a useful tool to show all picture galleries and directories.
- Search engine - information on the powerhouses of the web
- PPC search engine information - the Ses that charge you per click
