  2. It should be emphasized that they don’t know or care what your citizenship is. It’s limited to IP addresses within the US, a restriction that can probably be subverted by a proxy server.

    Having said that, NBC Direct fails on all other fronts. They need to realize that they are competing against The Pirate Bay and other black or grey market outfits that distribute DRM-free unrestricted files. When they understand that, and make it as easy to get a perfectly legal and above-board download as it is to get the shows from TPB, then they’ll be on a winner.
