Smash Synopsis

Smash is a musical drama television series produced by NBC that premiered in February of 2012.

Created by Theresa Rebeck Smash follows the story of a group of people including songwriters and producers, acting legends and newcomers looking for their first break, who are staging a musical on Broadway based on the life of Marilyn Monroe.

Smash is currently in its first season.
