UFO Synopsis

UFO is a Science fiction television series produced by ATV that premiered in September of 1970.

Created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (Thunderbirds), UFO was a British SF series set in then distant future of 1980. UFO followed the efforts of international secret agency S.H.A.D.O. to prevent aliens from slow infiltration and invasion of Earth. The series was notable for its rather dark tone and adult themes.
