King Synopsis

King is a police procedural drama television series produced by Showcase Canada that premiered in April of 2011.

Created by Bernard Zukerman and Greg Spottiswood King follows the story of Detective Sergeant Jessica King (played by Amy Price-Francis) who is a veteran Homicide detective. After the previous head of Major Crimes Task Force has a breakdown on air, she becomes the head of the unit. While her career is going from strength to strength Jessica’s personal life suffers – she wants stable family life but she already has two failed marriages behind her.

King aired one season, while second season is currently in production.
