Cristela Synopsis

Cristela is a situation comedy television series produced by ABC that premiered in October of 2014.

Created by Cristela Alonzo and Kevin Hench Cristela (played by Alonzo herself) follows the story of the titular character, a young woman from a Mexican-American family who is pursuing her dream to become a lawyer, much to the dismay of her immediate family. She gets offered an unpaid internship in a law firm and she has to juggle her professional ambitions with her home obligations.

Cristela is currently in its first season.
