Grantchester Synopsis

Grantchester is a crime drama television series produced by ITV that premiered in October of 2014.

Based on The Grantchester Mysteries books written by James Runcie Grantchester follows the story of Sidney Chambers (played by James Norton), a reverend in the small village of Grantchester in Cambridgeshire who becomes an amateur detective in his spare time. He often helps the local Detective Inspector Geordie Keating (played by Robson Green – Wire in the Blood) who is at first reluctant to accept the reverend’s help.

Grantchester is currently in its first season.
