Burnistoun Synopsis

Burnistoun is a sketch comedy television program produced by BBC Scotland that premiered in February of 2009.

Burnistoun stars two Scottish comedians – Robert Florence and Iain Connell. The series is set in a small fictional city of Burnistoun that boasts its own newspaper, gym, radio station and furniture store among other things. The reoccurring characters include a disgruntled serial killer The Burnistoun Butcher, bickering siblings who have their ice cream van and a local who has her heart set on becoming a member of a girl band.

Burnistoun aired two seasons.
