Butterflies Synopsis
Butterflies is a situation comedy television series produced by BBC that premiered in November of 1978.
Created by Carla Lane Butterflies follows the story of Parkison family – wife Ria (played by Wendy Craig), her husband Ben (played by Geoffrey Palmer) and their two sons Adam and Russell. Ria is stuck in a bit of rut and taken for granted by her family. She strikes a friendship with Leonard (played by Bruce Montague), a wealthy man who gives her an opportunity to escape the drudgery of her everyday life.
Butterflies aired four seasons.
