Desmond’s Synopsis

Desmond’s is a situation comedy television series produced by Channel 4 that premiered in January of 1989.

Created by Trix Worrell Desmond’s follows the story of Desmond Ambrose (played by Norman Beaton) who owns a barber shop in the neighborhood of Peckham, London. His barber shop was a gathering place for a number of locals. Desmond himself has aspirations of retiring and returning to Guyana.
