Alaska: The Last Frontier Synopsis

Alaska: The Last Frontier is a documentary television series produced by the Discovery Channel that premiered in December of 2011.

Alaska: The Last Frontier follows the story of the Kilcher family, living at their 600 acre homestead just outside of Homer, Alaska. The Kilcher family has lived in Homer for three generations and each winter they have to ensure they are prepared for the brutal winter conditions.

Alaska: The Last Frontier is currently in its second season.
